   July 5th, 2008 at 10:41:27 I am 55 and have just discovered Edie Brickell. At first I thought she was weird (I'm kinda old for her) but she grew on me. Found out about her when I was looking up Simon and Garfunkel stuff. Can see why Paul Simon is attracted to her. She looks kinda of '60's, like Janis Joplin.

   July 5th, 2008 at 11:04:26 i saw edie brickell and the new bo-s at the bottom line NYC in 1988 (i think). to play at the bottom line you had to walk up through the crowd on to the stage. edie actually brush by me and i nearly fainted. silly isn't it. something so insignificant, yet i still remember almost 20 years later. and yes, in case anyone is wondering, i do have a life. i guess i had a big crush on her. that's all. but so sweet thanks for sharing- romancitoG

It's magic! She has a raw, natural talent. Her tone is absolutely delicious... Listen to the sax solo on the Rolling Stones "Waiting on a Friend" - that's magic too...
