December 5th, 2008 at 03:48:43 WHAT A GREAT MOUVIE. I THINK IT`S EXCELLENT. THIS MOUVIE HAS APRECIOUS CULTURAL MESSAGE nazarena707
December 5th, 2008 at 04:11:42 Good taste! Omkara and Devdas are must's. Omkara doesnt have much dancing, but the dancing in it is AMAZING. And Devdas is just beautiful to watch, Madhuri and Aish dance like a dream.
December 5th, 2008 at 04:34:41 Catchy song! This movie was nominated for the Oscars right?
December 5th, 2008 at 04:57:40 I LOVE this movie. I watched it in my AP World history class last year, and it was a big hit with my class. We all got so emotionally invested in the movie that our substitute teacher we had one day was kind of creeped out. We even played cricket at the end of the year!
December 5th, 2008 at 05:20:39 this is like one of my all time favorite movies!!
December 5th, 2008 at 05:43:38 Hi!
December 5th, 2008 at 06:06:37 Hi! Thanks for the genuine interest in Hinduism. Although I have not read entire Bhagavad-Gita, I will try to explain where God Vishnu was. Krishna was a replica of Vishnu, u can think of Terminator for ex, who took birth on earth to make good triumph over bad n help Pandavas (5 brothers) to establish dharma (like goodness every where) by helping them defeat their cousins, Kauravas (100 brothers) who were evil minded. U can reply 2 me 4 more info if u need. I ll try 2 gather dem 2 u. Ok?takecare
December 5th, 2008 at 06:29:36 Gracy Singh is an AMAZING dancer and great actress too. Sad that Bollywood doesnt cater for such talent = (
December 5th, 2008 at 06:52:35 um, it's definitely george bernard shaw.
December 5th, 2008 at 07:15:34 Indian movies I recommend: Jodhaa Akbar (Same Director as Lagaan. It's a Love story between Moghul emporer Akbar and Rajput princess Jodhaa.) Company(mumbai underworld) Omkara (Indian Othello. Some dancing) Devdas(Tragic love Story with great dancing) Dor (Simple yet filled with heart) Black Friday(On 1993 bombing in Mumbai. Intense! If you want to watch a serious movie) Recommended Older classics: Mughal-E-Azam, Mother India and Sholay(Pure fun!)
December 5th, 2008 at 07:38:33 Also I am sure the song you took for Kadhalar Dhinam "Roja Roja" is based on a RD Burman tune. Creativity lies where you hide the source - George Bernard Shah.
December 5th, 2008 at 08:01:32 this song has the same tune as a 60's Tamil movie named Kungumam acted by the late Sivaji Ganesan. Old wine in new bottle! There you go AR Rehman. You are a genius. As long as you hide the creativity from. The North Indians would have no clue which Tamil film you take them from!
December 5th, 2008 at 08:24:31 I agree Gracy Singh is exceptional. Wish she acted more. Nice song
